Name: Lindsay
Gender: Female

Interests: dancing when I talk to others; breaking silence; worship; journaling in my real journal; God; impressing people with my wit, intelligence, and good looks; being modest :-) ; did you catch that one?
Expertise: Taking care of darling children who are able to spend seven hours away from their parents, and try to rule my life as I teach them about Jesus. It is very hard to explain to the children why Jesus is in the nativity scene and God is not exactly one of the shepards. Very tough concept. I managed it though.

Currently Listening
Shine: The Hits
By Newsboys
I Am Free
see related

Halfway through my first semester and I have yet to call home and ask for money, I'm still making straight A's, and life is better than ever.

However, I'm pretty sure I haven't had a decent night of sleep for a very long time, and all natural body functions are jacked up.

I get the room to myself for four whole days!!!  Fall break will be a weekend of relative silence around here.  I need some alone time.  Maybe I'll run around the bathroom naked.  That's gonna be some sweet action right there.

I must guard the halloween decorations.  Over my dead body, they will jack up my streamer job on the doors.  More is to come.  We can't do it all in one night.  Jeez, it was a long night for what we did.

So, I'm listening to "I Am Free" by the Newsboys, the live version, and I didn't realize the guy was Australian. So It sounds like the croc hunter is praising Jesus.  At the end he's so into it he's just talking really really really fast "FREEDOMINYAHAARTFREEDOMINYASOL" It's pretty awesome.

No disrespect Steve Irwin, don't haunt me now.

You can garuntee a really awesome entry if the ghost of Steve Irwin haunts me tonight.

Tampons, pads, pantie liners, shaving cream, waist paper basket, two bowls, two cups, face wash, scrub, make-up bag, toothpaste, contact solution, razors, laundry detergent, fabric softner, shower shoes, shower carrier, shampoo, conditioner, band aids, midol, tylenol, extension cords, and duct tape.

I think I am done with my dorm room shopping now.  Phew!

Still no word on my bedding, towels, hamper, mattress pad, and something called a bedside buddy.  Yeah, they are in the process of being shipped.  I'm moving in saturday.  This is lame.

I know I got more stuff today.  Oh, a fork and a spoon.  They are yellow.

Saw World Trade Center today.  Little emotional, as expected.  Decent film.  I wouldn't say great.  Decent.  More that I would expect from Oliver Stone.

I have to pack.  Meh.

Yeah, it's been a while.

So I notice xanga was realizing how lame it was becoming.  Personally, I didn't think it was lame, I just got bored.  Ya know, it just had the essentials.  Plus, angry sad girls could fight with one another publicly.  I mean, if you did not know why two of your friends were fighting, you could go here and read up on it.  Of course, for me it ended about junior-ish year, so I guess it doesn't matter any way.  Actually, none of my close friends would/have ever do/done that.  So it really doesn't make any difference.

So, Xanga is now trying to reclaim is blogging super powers.  Combining the nifty features of facebook in it.  It's almost too much.  It just might be another desperate attempt to keep it's faithful users interested, but it's actually confusing.  We are still bored, but we stay b/c a few good friends are faithful mainly b/c they don't want to mess with two blog spots.  Don't blame them, I used to be the same way.  Wish I was.  I sold out.  I'm a blog whore.

Xanga and I are going through a nasty divorce right now.  We've been trying to do a trial separation, but it just didn't work out.  We've talked about a time-sharing deal, but our lawyers are working out the details.

It's a lot of work to keep up on the many blogs, but calling, instant messaging, and e-mailing are of the past.

I am halfway through my second week of day camp for First Baptist.  There is too much to say.  I am exhausted every day.  It takes a lot of effort to get on the computer.  A couple of the kids yesterday pulled Cody Moore's shorts down during Baloon Stomp.  I pointed and laughed.  Kolin with a "K" threw another temper tantrum: they get better and better.

I need a neck rub. Please.
